Our farmer Sergio grows his coffee variant called Java on his farm El Porvenir, from which Java Sugar Lava is made. True to its name, it shows the strongest signs of raw sugar and caramel, but during the tasting we can also sense chocolate and cinnamon. The intense aromas are paired with medium acidity, resulting a harmonious and characteristic coffee. The coffees grown at a height of 1186 meters were processed using the Honey process. This means that the skin of the fruit is peeled off, but the flesh is left to ferment on the beans, so that in the end the beans are much richer in fructose and sweetness.
